This year’s election campaigns have included plenty of promises from Democrats who say they’ll work with Republicans, and Republicans who say they’ll work with Democrats.
Joe Ruiz, the Libertarian running for north-central Indiana’s seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, says he can do one better for voters who are sick of partisanship in Washington.
“I don’t have any obligation to party loyalty, which means that I can form coalitions on both sides on specific issues,” he said. “I think that’s going to be something, as a representative for this district, that will be helpful. You don’t have to worry about blind partisanship from me.”
As a lifelong Indiana resident, Jackie understands the struggles of working class Hoosier families during this time of economic hardship.
While serving as an Indiana State Representative, Jackie made her mark by leading the fight to cut taxes and eliminate wasteful spending. She is running for Congress because America needs a leader to stand up to the tax and spend policies of the Obama Administration.
Jackie will bring her record of conservative leadership to Congress. In Washington, she will stand up to the special interests and work to rein in federal spending to reduce the burden placed on our children and grandchildren. She will fight for a balanced budget and a pro-growth economic environment that allows businesses to expand.
